Terms of use
- UnShare provides general information and tooling to help you understand privacy settings and reduce digital exposure. It is not professional legal, financial, medical, or emergency advice. You remain responsible for your choices and for complying with laws and provider terms that apply to you.
- Content and software are provided “as is”. We strive for accuracy and reliability but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- You agree not to misuse the site or app — for example by attempting to break security, overload infrastructure, scrape in violation of applicable terms, or harass others.
- We may change or discontinue features; where material changes affect you, we will describe them reasonably (for example via this page, in-app notice, or email where appropriate).
- Third-party services: The app may link to or rely on third parties (email providers, tool vendors). Their terms and privacy policies apply in addition to ours.
Software and accounts
The UnShare application is distributed or made available separately from this marketing site (for example via app stores or web). Account creation, authentication, and data handling are described in the Privacy Policy. If you use a demo or preview build, data may be reset or processed differently than in production; we will label such builds where practical.
Purchases
The unshare.io marketing site does not operate a checkout. If we offer paid products or subscriptions in the future, separate terms and checkout disclosures will apply at the point of purchase.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection rules. Subject to the foregoing, to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or app.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. For disputes, the courts of Porto have jurisdiction where permitted by law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence if you qualify as a consumer elsewhere in the EEA or UK.
